We are glad to announce that the Global Smart Cities SummitcumGlobal Smart Cities Summit cum The 4th International Conference on Urban Informatics (GSCS & ICUI 2025) will be held in Hong Kong on 5 - 8 August 2025. We cordially invite you to submit abstracts or full papers to this conference. We look forward to meeting you in Hong Kong to discuss the future development of smart cities, as well as scientific advances, new technologies, and applicational innovations in urban informatics.

Registration Refund Policy:
- If participants cannot attend the conference due to a rejected visa application or other uncontrollable causes, the registration fee is partially refundable, excluding the credit card processing fee.
- If you are not able to attend due to personal reasons, the registration fee is not refundable.

- Full paper:submitted to https://www.springer.com/journal/44212 Please select the special issue "Theoretical Development and Technology Innovation Towards Future Smart Cities (ICUI 2025)" for paper submission. If you want to compete for the Best Conference Paper Award, please make sure to submit your full paper through this channel for the opportunity to be published in the Urban Informatics journal.
Call for Sessions:
We invite proposals for sessions on any topics related to Urban Informatics and Smart Cities, examples can be found in the Conference Topics below.
Each session proposal should include:
- A title and a brief description of the session topic and scope (up to 300 words)
- A list of potential speakers and their affiliations (up to 10 speakers)
- A short biography of the session organizer(s) (up to 100 words)
The session proposals should be submitted via email to icui@isocui.org by July 25, 2025. The session proposals will be reviewed by the conference program committee and the accepted sessions will be notified by July 25, 2025.
Call for Awards:
We are pleased to announce the call for awards. The awards aim to recognize and celebrate the outstanding contributions of researchers, governments, and practitioners in the field of Urban Informatics and Smart Cities. The awards categories are:
- Outstanding Achievement in Urban Informatics Award
- Smart Cities Development Contribution Award (Government)
- Urban Informatics Journal Paper of the Year Award
- Smart City Technology Innovation Award (application submission is required)
- Best Conference Paper Award (application submission is required)
To be eligible for the Smart City Technology Innovation Award, you need to register for the conference, and submit a) filled application form and b) demo video (or by shared link) via email to icui@isocui.org by July 25, 2025. The award winners will be selected by a committee of experts and announced at the conference on August 5, 2025. The winners of each award will receive a certificate. To be eligible for the Best Conference Paper Award, you need to register for the conference and submit your full paper via https://www.springer.com/journal/44212/submission-guidelines (please select the special issue "GSCS & ICUI 2025" for paper submission when select article type) by July 25, 2025. The winners will be selected by a committee of experts and announced at the conference on August 5, 2025. The winners of each award will receive a certificate.
